This combination of art and format is perfect. Bookbinder's Design is one of those places I wish I could visit every day-- beautiful and simple formats extremely well made. This is how a simple 1-color notebook can be categorized as high-end. They are spartan in their design but very demanding it the execution. When we were in Sweden, I wanted to visit their shop over and over-- they represent a kind of book perfection for me. Illustrator Sandra Isaksson has a great sense of color and simple forms-- like Irish designer Orla Kiely. Well done.
