Jane Kim is a Bay Area artist who paints on found drywall, green board (middle image), cement board, or plywood. Her medium is recycled latex house paint, which is surprising given the delicacy of the images and the traditional motifs. I love these refined shapes and their reference to Middle Eastern or Moorish arts.
Recently she worked on a print project with Olivia San Mateo, a letterpress printer from Berkeley, California. Olivia has some beautiful prints in her shop Olive-Route (including the bottom image here from "The Elements,") that you can see here.
