Jahan Gerrard

Jahan Gerrard is a fantastic illustrator and artist living in London. I've featured her here before, and I am a huge fan. Her newest Moleskin notebook (#5) is just great. "My work is really personal and minimal, I find the moleskine sketchbook format suits me." I can't say exactly what draws me to these, but there is something about her drawing / lettering style that is so interesting and lovely. I think of Hockney's notebooks, with the casual sketch and hand-lettered notes. Beautiful work by a beautiful hand. I was lucky enough to work with Jahan recently and here is the result-- a new look for Modern Craft.
