This is one of the things I got at the house sale last weekend-- it has a slit in the top leather cap for coins and the brass pin slides out so you can remove the top. Have you ever seen anything like this? I can't find any information about it.

I am digging the wacked out "It's a Small World" theme going on. If the top weren't made from leather, I'd swear it was an individual espresso brewer like for Vietnamese coffee. Fun find!
