Angie Davis makes great handmade items in her live/work studio on an island in the middle of the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis. She is an architect and employs modern furniture and aesthetics into her designs. I like the combination of the slightly chunky pieces she makes with the clean lines of modernism.
