As much traveling as I do in Hong Kong and Asia, I am inundated with offers to buy fakes. Sometimes, I admit, I take advantage-- mostly because I'm really cheap. I'd love to have a closet of Lacoste shirts for instance, but at $75 a pop, I'm not likely to have more than one. So fakes offer an accessibility that the real goods don't. I like this satirical take on the fake designer bag. What is even funnier here is that these fake bags (all cotton, reversible) are actually make in limited editions! i kinda like these. but mostly, won't carry fake bags.
actually, what's crazy is I had this idea about 4 years ago. I clearly did nothing with it but someone brought me a fake LV from NY and I wanted to take a black sharpie and graffiti FAKE all over it. I should have.
I love the fact that they are made in limited editions.
