Robert Burnier paints disassembled and partial worlds, fragments of familiar images rearranged and placed in a grid pattern so that they are something new. As part of next weekend's art-partly program (along with fellow-Chicagoan Russ White featured here), Burnier's paintings are new ways of seeing and thinking about our world.
