Hockney Sketchbooks

I recently had a birthday and my wife gave me a great present: 15 sketchbooks from David Hockney, on DVD. Over 700 drawings made over the 2002-2003 year during trips to London, Iceland, Norway, and Los Angeles, these notebooks contain Hockney's sometimes quick, sometimes studied impressions of objects and people in various styles. I love his drawings, and these studies are a beautiful collection of why Hockney is one of the greatest living artists.
