I love these pieces from San Francisco artist Andy Vogt. He is a founding memeber of Operation Re-Information (ORI), a science+information / art performance collective that champions the repurposing of existing information. Andy's work has been exhibited most recently at the LH Horton Jr. Gallery in Stockton, CA and the UC Davis Memorial Union Gallery in Davis, CA. You can see more here. (Via Smarts & Crafts.)

You found him! Yea! Isn't he wonderful? I'm lucky enough to have my studio right down the hall from his. I get to see him create in front of my eyes! I love his work so much.
I do really miss ORI, but I love the fact that they are still creating really wicked artwork.
